what would be the point? the resolution just makes the image clearer it doesn't bumps the graphics quality. i mean a res of 720p on the Wii it's not going to make it do better textures or animations at the contrary it would make it less efficient because then the processor would have to focus more resource into the resolution and in the end it just going to make the graphics even worse than they are right now and we would see the imperfections clearer....
there are games like COD...
something nobody is talking about is the option bonus that you get when you beat the game. it lets you control some graphical effects like the motion blur, depth of field, tint, etc and these effects make the game look even better!

but they are not simply removing what is inappropriate they are removing everything that has even the most subtle detail about anything related to something commercial. example: they are removing the mario levels, the MGS levels and even levels that have something related to the playstation brand! this is plain ridiculous.

the problem with graphics is that they make the gameplay better. better animations = smoother gameplay, HD res = easier for the eye, better textures and effect = better atmosphere = easier immersion.to prove my point right, play DMC4 and DMC3 and you'll gonna understand what i mean.
